Added some stuff…

Well, I’ve added a projects page dedicated to the ACM Nyack College Chapter Website I’m working on, as well as adding more to the Spiritual Formation Video.

As for me, I’ve just finished a week of Vacation Bible School (or VBS, which is a five day event where kids come and learn about the Bible, etc.), which means another round of hard-hitting intense all out video editing for the VBS closing ceremony that was yesterday (we have the closing ceremony a day before the last day of VBS). After the usual rush to edit the video before the ceremony began, I made an attempt to chill out from the intense pressure of getting to Budd Lake Chapel, where the ceremony is held, on time. I didn’t go too crazy on my trip (in fact God tried to remind me not to worry when “God is in Control” by Twila Paris started playing from the radio when I started my car). Thankfully they were able to stall until my arrival by having a VBS participant talk about the mission that kids gave money to each day. Continue reading Added some stuff…

Summer: work, projects, and well, sleep

Well, things seem to be going pretty well here. I am still working for Spiral Binding Company, in which I am doing some pretty cool stuff which you will be able to see in the coming months at their website (www.spiralbinding.com). Other than that, I was able to sing with my family for the memorial day parade in a float for our church. We did pretty well (trust me, I am not a professional singer, but I can carry a tune…). Afterwards, we went to a picnic for more singing. Continue reading Summer: work, projects, and well, sleep

A new post for the sake of posting…

Hello. I am not dead! There’s a lot of things going on with me at college, especially [working-title]. I have a interface posted at workingtitle.tgorg.com so you can check it out and e-mail me what you think. I am currently working on the PHP backend, and hopefully I’ll get most of it done before Monday the following week.. I’m going to have to put in a lot of hours if I want to get this one done.

Also, I’d like to post up a cartoon/games section that will include some of the content that I make for [working-title]. That way, at least I have something interesting on my site…

Finally, please pray for my Church. Our Pastor will be leaving the chapel in July. Please pray for stability as we look for a new Pastor, or, if we can, find a way to keep the existing one.

Happy Easter! I am home!

Happy easter everyone! I’ll be home from today to the 28th for spring break. If you wish to visit, and you’re someone I know, feel free to email me and we’ll set a time.

In other news, I’ve been busy working on the GoodGames.com website. I have officially renamed it [working-title] community. It’s going to take a little bit longer before I can get some kind of “preview”, but expect something in the next three weeks.

The Real Meaning of Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving got me up pretty early. I normally would get up later on a Thursday Morning (namely 10:00 AM), but today I had to get up early to have breakfast; the elusive meal that I never quite catch during my college life. I was, therefore, unfortunately groggy, and not in the best of moods, which left me wanting for that “Thanksgiving-warm-fuzzy” feeling when the Holidays roll along. Needless to say, you can imagine how preturbed I got when we went to McDonalds for breakfast. Now you may be thinking, what’s wrong with Mickey D’s? For me, however, a thanksgiving breakfast at McD’s, is like eating chicken instead of turkey for Thanksgiving. I’d rather stay at home, even eating cereal. However I guess depending on who you are, it dosen’t matter where you are when you have Thanksgiving. Maybe this whole “tradition” thing isn’t necessarily the real spirit of Thanksgiving, but something else. Continue reading The Real Meaning of Thanksgiving
