Real quick, I had an issue where the latest 8bitdo updater wasn’t detecting the controller. I fixed it by running the 8bitdo updater as Administrator (right click on the application, then select ‘Run as Administrator’). I ran this before I plugged in the controller. Afterwards, I plugged in the controller, without the battery, and while holding down L1 + R1. That took me to the controller selection menu right away.
