Saturday, August 13th had us participate in an evangelistic outreach in our town; aptly named “Park Fest”, since it was held at Modick Park in Hopatcong. I for the most part, was in charge of a running the video area (in which I didn’t get much of anyone to see). However, despite all that, during the alter call at the youth time, there were 20 kids saved, which is very cool. After all that, I had the opporutinity to sing with my family. Unfortunately, we didn’t do so great, but we were the last one’s to sing. They were packing up during our time anyway, so whether we were bad or good didn’t really matter. Most importantly however, is the fact that we did do something for God, and that we were hopefully doing it for His glory. Even though we wern’t the best singers, I was encouraged by one person because I was faithful, which was really good. Continue reading tgorg update – part deux

Added some stuff…
Well, I’ve added a projects page dedicated to the ACM Nyack College Chapter Website I’m working on, as well as adding more to the Spiritual Formation Video.
As for me, I’ve just finished a week of Vacation Bible School (or VBS, which is a five day event where kids come and learn about the Bible, etc.), which means another round of hard-hitting intense all out video editing for the VBS closing ceremony that was yesterday (we have the closing ceremony a day before the last day of VBS). After the usual rush to edit the video before the ceremony began, I made an attempt to chill out from the intense pressure of getting to Budd Lake Chapel, where the ceremony is held, on time. I didn’t go too crazy on my trip (in fact God tried to remind me not to worry when “God is in Control” by Twila Paris started playing from the radio when I started my car). Thankfully they were able to stall until my arrival by having a VBS participant talk about the mission that kids gave money to each day. Continue reading Added some stuff…
tgorg’s current status
I figure that I should post monthly, although if I worked harder I could probably do it more often…. No matter; I placed a couple of new projects to the project section, namely the Computer Science Department Website and the Spiritual Formation Video. Be sure to stop by once in awhile for updates… Continue reading tgorg’s current status
I left MySpace
Hey guys. As most of you know, I left the MySpace scene. Basically, the ads posted on MySpace weren’t the greatest in terms of content (girls in bikinis, etc.), and for me, it was a big deal. Continue reading I left MySpace
Summer: work, projects, and well, sleep
Well, things seem to be going pretty well here. I am still working for Spiral Binding Company, in which I am doing some pretty cool stuff which you will be able to see in the coming months at their website (www.spiralbinding.com). Other than that, I was able to sing with my family for the memorial day parade in a float for our church. We did pretty well (trust me, I am not a professional singer, but I can carry a tune…). Afterwards, we went to a picnic for more singing. Continue reading Summer: work, projects, and well, sleep
School’s Out! I am home!
Hello. School’s out for the summer, and I am home! It’s been a interesting and exciting year. If anyone wants to meet with me, contact me using my home phone number. Thanks!
Oh, in other news, [working-title] is, well, working better each day. There’s still a lot of nasty bugs on the front end as well as the back end. I’ll keep you posted…
A new post for the sake of posting…
Hello. I am not dead! There’s a lot of things going on with me at college, especially [working-title]. I have a interface posted at workingtitle.tgorg.com so you can check it out and e-mail me what you think. I am currently working on the PHP backend, and hopefully I’ll get most of it done before Monday the following week.. I’m going to have to put in a lot of hours if I want to get this one done.
Also, I’d like to post up a cartoon/games section that will include some of the content that I make for [working-title]. That way, at least I have something interesting on my site…
Finally, please pray for my Church. Our Pastor will be leaving the chapel in July. Please pray for stability as we look for a new Pastor, or, if we can, find a way to keep the existing one.
Happy Easter! I am home!
Happy easter everyone! I’ll be home from today to the 28th for spring break. If you wish to visit, and you’re someone I know, feel free to email me and we’ll set a time.
In other news, I’ve been busy working on the GoodGames.com website. I have officially renamed it [working-title] community. It’s going to take a little bit longer before I can get some kind of “preview”, but expect something in the next three weeks.
I Believe in Miracles…
God showed me that miracles existed, and even more that some the seemingly crazy things that happen might not be so crazy. I still think that when miracles happen, they may need to be practical, but maybe there are just some times that I have no clue what the practicalities are. On Wednesday, I was in a bit of a jam. I was reading Digging the Wells of Revival, and I had a hard time accepting what the author was saying in terms of miracles. However, after Nyack Heritage class on Wednesday, which I believe was God’s answer to my lukewarm response to miracles, I changed my view. The professor was talking about a man who went through a “crazy” miracle in Toronto at a conference our professor was at. This man was weeping and laughing alternating every minute for a few days. When our professor asked the pasor if the man was crazy, the pastor gave a very practical explaination. It was his guess that the man was crying at the things he held in, things that were long overdue, while his laugh was also very approptiate. As it turned out, the pastor was correct. The Holy Spirit was working through the man. Miracles, however crazy, can be done and are of God. I think we should take everything with a grain of salt if it gets too crazy, but miracles, even crazy miracles, should not be thrown out unless they are not coming from God. I also learned that I can be eager for spiritual gifts, which I think is really cool. However, in the end, I know my heart needs to be in the right place.
